Staff are Key to Your Success – What Do They Think?
The inclusive nature of most nonprofit organizations places high value on sharing information and decisions. Yet, few nonprofits have a good method for soliciting input from staff on a regular basis.
Our Staff Survey is not intended to be an “Employee Satisfaction” survey, but to anecdotally support your organization in providing a forum for your staff to share their insights on the work of the organization and how it can be improved – because they see your work and your clients every day.
This short questionnaire covers numerous topics: Board, Senior Staff, Career Orientation, Belief in Mission, Program Impact, Community Reputation, Staff Teamwork, Concerns and Opportunities in the Future, Changes in Client Needs, etc.
We offer two levels of surveys to meet your needs and your budget. You will work with our representative by e-mail or phone to define your timeline, share e-mail addresses of participants, and clarify questions (for Custom surveys).
1) The Basic Staff Survey is 15 of the questions we have found to be helpful for most organizations. It is “short & sweet” and can be thoroughly completed in 15-20 minutes - most people will take 10-15 minutes. If you would like to customize questions, please see our “Custom” Survey option.

2) The Custom Staff Survey provides you with the opportunity to select from our list of 30+ questions and add up to five of your own questions. We recommend that the total length not exceed 20 questions or the time it takes to complete the survey can quickly exceed 30 minutes and discourage quality responses.
