How To Raise Money

For a nonprofit organization to have a shot at becoming financially sustainable, an organization generally needs three things:

1) The ability to prove that your program truly makes a difference in the lives of its clients and does it in a cost-effective way – ideally more effective and cost-efficient than current providers.

2) A growing number of people who support the organization financially and volunteer their time and talents to work for the organization and spread the word.

3) Systems and procedures to solicit donations, accept donations, and keep track of the relationships with donors and prospects.
